Dear God, this week we bring before you the people Dear God, this week we bring before you the people of Myanmar. We pray that you will bring comfort to those who are mourning the loss of loved ones in recent protests. We pray for your protection over those who continue to protest peacefully. You know what is happening in Myanmar, and we pray for justice, an end to all conflict and for your will to be done in this place. Amen.

how can I pray for you?🐧 We are big believers how can I pray for you?🐧

We are big believers in the power of prayer over here, and we know that there is a lot of need right now. Even if the spring weather & roadmap have lifted our spirits, there are still so many people struggling✨

Let me know down in the comments how we can be praying for you this weekend🙏

Three Hours - Rosamund Lupton ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thr Three Hours - Rosamund Lupton
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Three Hours is a thriller which takes place over a period of three hours, and I do think you could read this in less than three hours because it is SO fast paced. A school-shooting is taking place at a school in Somerset, pupils and teachers are trapped, the headmaster has been shot, parents are gathering desperate for information, the police are racing against the clock to understand what is going on and how to get everyone out alive🏔️

Following all of these different perspectives makes this a very tense book, uncovering the mystery bit by bit, with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing all the way to the end. It also covers some interesting social and political topics (some a little on the nose, but interesting none-the-less) and how different groups of people respond to the information being revealed in the middle of such a traumatic event❄️

This is the kind of book that you can't put down, and end of thinking about for days and days after. I could re-read it already!☕
how do you feel about change?🦆 The change of W how do you feel about change?🦆

The change of Winter into Spring, the hope of changes to lockdown restrictions on the horizon, the changes of maybe going back to an office, the change of lighter evenings ✨

There are certainly good changes and bad changes - and changes that seem bad but might actually turn out to be good💭

And I think Lent is a good season to reflect on all those changes. Lent marks the change from John the Baptist preparing the way, to Jesus himself leading the way. It marks the beginning of Jesus' ministry and the many miracles, healings & wonderous teachings it would bring. But it also marks the countdown to Jesus' betrayal, trial and crucifixion. A huge change for the those around Jesus, before the even bigger change of Jesus' resurrection three days later 🐣

If the changes you are facing right now & making you worried, anxious, sad; know that as long as you stay attached to the vine - as long as you trust in Jesus & follow him, you will always be on the right track🤸
back last March, when we created our very first on back last March, when we created our very first online church service, I didn't imagine for one second that we would still be worshipping together in this way a whole year later🤯

I think it's taught us a lot, made us think about our priorities. Shown us how to worship differently. Not to mention all the skills we've learnt: video editing, live streaming, preaching to a camera🎥

And prayers, intercessions, are an important part of our online worship together. But again, this is a different skill to leading prayers in person - we have to think about different things, and think outside the box a little 🦭

If you're involved in leading prayers for online church, or want to get involved - check out my latest blog post, where I'm sharing my top tips for leading prayers online (learnt over the past year!) as well as some of the ideas we've tried out - head to the link in my bio to find the blog & read the post📚

We ask you to provide for all those who are struggling to access water, food, or other supplies; to be with those whose homes have been damaged; and to bring comfort to everyone affected. Amen.

Introducing Koa the Koala Bear🐨 So whenever we Introducing Koa the Koala Bear🐨

So whenever we have a new friend join our motley crew, there are a few things they have to learn: how to moo (courtesy of Bernard), that everything must be sung (Koa, Koa, Koa, Koa, Koa, Koala Bear is a very catchy tune🎶), and of course how to pray - taught by Arnold himself🐧

But when we talk about how to pray, when to pray, what to pray, where to pray - we should also take some time to think about how NOT to pray. What are the bad prayer habits that we should avoid?☕

So in our new video, we have been exploring the Bible to see what it says about the things we shouldn't do when praying - and we came up with 10 things to avoid💭

Head to the link in my bio to find our YouTube channel, meet Koa, and watch the full video to find out our thoughts on how not to pray!🎬
