I love worship music. When Spotify sent me my breakdown of my listening choices for the last decade, I was very unsurprised to see Christian music being far and away my most-listened-to songs. In fact, Rend Collective was my most listened to artist of the whole decade!

Last year, I put together a list of my favourite worship songs of 2018, which you should definitely check out, but first, here are my favourite worship songs of 2019! This list includes both corporate worship songs (songs that you would sing in a group setting, such as church), and personal worship songs (songs that you might be more likely to sing alone, or listen to in the car for example).

My favourite worship songs of 2019

CityAlight

I love pretty much all the music by CityAlight, who I discovered earlier this year. Their songs are so catchy, but packed full of Biblical truth and fantastic lyrics. My favourites are: Ancient of Days, Yet not I but through Christ in Me, God is for us, and Jerusalem.

Songs from New Wine 2019

New Wine’s United summer event is one of the places that I find looooads of great new music, whether it’s songs that we sing at the main evening meetings, in Pebbles Team times or in the kids worship times during Pebbles. This year, I loved Kids of the Kingdom from Pebbles, as well as The Blessing Song, which we often sung over the children. From the main meetings and team times, I loved Living Hope by Phil Wickham, and Way Maker by Martay.

New Finds

Finding new worship music is something I sometimes find difficult. I want to find good, biblical worship music (check out my blog about finding good worship music here) that is also fabulous to listen to. This year I’ve found worship music from attending a new church, as well as listening to all the recommended songs Spotify suggests to me.

Endless Alleluia – Cory Asbury

Hand to Hold – JJ Heller

Christ be in my waking – Stuart Townend

Well Done – The Afters

Dream Small – Josh Wilson

These are my favourite worship songs of 2019! Did you know that each week on Facebook, I have a weekly post called ‘Worship Wednesday’ where I share a worship song that I am enjoying. I have also compiled all of the songs I posted this year into one Spotify playlist which you can find and listen to here!

What are your favourite worship songs?
