Arnold & Purse

WOO MORE ANIMALS – kinda…

In today’s advent challenge, we looked at Luke 2.8-12, when angels appeared to the shepherds, telling them of Jesus’ birth! Must have been pretty exciting!

Later in his life, Jesus was also called a good shepherd, looking after his people like a shepherd cares for his sheep. Today our challenges were to be a good shepherd.

Challenge 1: Thank someone whose job makes them a frequent target for criticism

Challenge 2: Take some treats to a care home and, if possible, chat to residents

Challenge 3: Give £3 to place the nativity story into a food hamper for a family in need in the UK this Christmas

To me, I thought the idea of adding a nativity story into a food hamper for a family in need in the UK sounds awesome! Therefore, I decided that donating £3 to help Bible Society to do this would be a really cool thing to do!

The only issue was, I don’t have any money…

So, I may have borrowed Jenny’s purse (shhhh), but I’m sure she won’t mind! Hopefully that £3 will make a difference to a family this Christmas!
